THE MAIN HOUSE INCLUDING IMMEDIATE LANDS, PARK MEADOWS,
WALKERS & SEA VIEW LANDS
The lands extend to 382.9 acres which compromise 226.8 acres
of grassland and 156.1 acres of woodland. The majority of
the land is undulating and well sheltered. The grassland is
well fenced with good drainage. There is extensive frontage
to public roads and the Estate is well served by internal
roadways. In 1742 over 150,000 trees, mostly Oak and some
specimen species were planted on either side of the river.
This mature timber not only provides a valuable source of
income but creates a micro climate ideal for the out
wintering of livestock.
